Our goal was to leverage Naturalizer’s history of supporting working and active women and create a store that was a pure experience of the brand. In 2014, I was brought in by COLLINS to design a space where CHEP could announce The Supply Change. This campaign signified a big shift in the way that CHEP communicated about their products to the world. When designing The Supply Change exhibition space, I referred to 1960’s set design. The result was a glowing beacon that stood out on the trade show floor. This bright display became the framework to introduce show-goers to The Supply Change. Through simplified, modern design, Quip’s suite of offerings help customers adopt better toothbrushing and self-care habits with their unique subscription service. I was brought in to help Quip envision a space where they could demonstrate their products to both the public and dental professionals. Together with Hewn Brothers, we created a traveling exhibit that stands out on the trade show floor. Visitors are encouraged to play with the products, engage in a conversation with Quip representatives and learn from step-by-step instructions. I created a series of novel, 3D printed film and digital cameras because I was curious about how images are made. At first, my cameras were pretty rough and as a result, they made grainy and distorted pictures.&nbsp; The more I learned through iterative making, the more my designs improved. After I got the basics of camera design down, I realized that I was able to manipulate the resultant images by changing the physical characteristics of the cameras–almost like a real-world slider in a parametric software. These findings lead me to build a speculative website, where a student could learn about different S.T.E.M. subjects through making and rapid prototyping.
